QUESTIONS:

There is a question for each month of the year, starting with January's. Then there will be a few extra ones to cover the whole kit n' kabootle. :)

1. What do you do each year for the New Year? Stay up late and wait for the ball to drop, go to a party, etc...?

2. How do you celebrate Valentines Day? Do you go all out (decorate the house, go out to dinner, etc.), do you just give each other Valentines or chocolate, or do you not acknowledge the day at all?

3. Do you get snow in the winter? How much?

4. How do you celebrate Easter?

5. "April showers bring May flowers." Does this saying describe where you live?

6. June is a month well known for weddings. How many people do you know that have been married in June?

7. Do you celebrate the 4th of July with fireworks? What is your favorite kind of firework?

8. Ok, so August gets really hot. How do you like to cool off on a hot summer day?

9. Ahh... September the month when you get in your last digs of the summer, the leaves might start changing colors, and you start school. What do you like best about September?

10. October... now that involves pumpkins. :D Do you and your family go to a pumpkin farm or the store and get pumpkins? What do you do with them? Do you carve them or make pies out of them (if they are edible ;))?

11. Thanksgiving is a wonderful start to the Holiday Season. What are you thankful for this past year?

12. Christmas is such a wonderful time... how do you celebrate Christmas Day?

13. What was the most memorable thing that happened to you this past year?

14. Was there something this past year that you were able to learn from in a major way?

15. There are ups and downs in every year. What was the happiest thing that happened? What was the saddest?

16. What are you looking forward to this year? Have you any super duper plans ahead of you?

17. What is the funniest thing that happened last year, that never fails to make you laugh?

18. What was your favorite month last year?

Well, that's all for the questionnaire. I'll try to get up my own answers in a few days... possibly. :)

Please make sure to share with your friends!! :D

And yesterday I turned 21... that's just a little scary. :D Some of you may have seen the birthday post put up by my sister who "hacked" me. ;) So here's a little quote that's a favorite of mine (and that several blogger friends have used before me - I'm being a little of a copy cat ;D).

Rapunzel: So mother, earlier I was saying tomorrow is a really big day, and you didn't really respond, so I'm just gonna tell you: IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! Tada!

Mother Gothel: No no no, can't be. I distinctly remember, your birthday was last year.

Rapunzel: That's the funny thing about birthdays, they're kind of an annual thing.

Hi Stephanie! Is it okay if I answer the questions here?

1. What do you do each year for the New Year? Stay up late and wait for the ball to drop, go to a party, etc...?

We always stay up till 12 and watch the ball drop. Some years we will go to a party, others we'll have people here for a party...it really depends! :)

2. How do you celebrate Valentines Day? Do you go all out (decorate the house, go out to dinner, etc.), do you just give each other Valentines or chocolate, or do you not acknowledge the day at all?
We decorate the house and then eat a huge lobster, shrimp bisque and steak dinner. It's pretty awesome.

3. Do you get snow in the winter? How much?

Oh, yes! One of the best things about living in MD! Typically we get several multi-foot snows but this year has been a very bad snow year.

4. How do you celebrate Easter?

Church, big dinner with friends, egg hunt, new dresses, resurrection cookies...

5. "April showers bring May flowers." Does this saying describe where you live?

Eh, sorta. March-May is our rainy season but it does get sunny and beautiful some days in May.

6. June is a month well known for weddings. How many people do you know that have been married in June?
I have no idea...only one I can think of off the top of my head.

7. Do you celebrate the 4th of July with fireworks? What is your favorite kind of firework?
Yeah! We got to Antietam Battlefield or Baker Park and see the fireworks...that's basically what everyone in our area does for the 4th.

8. Ok, so August gets really hot. How do you like to cool off on a hot summer day?
Sometimes. Rarely past 100, though. Last year we had an extremely mild August barely reaching the 80s.

9. Ahh... September the month when you get in your last digs of the summer, the leaves might start changing colors, and you start school. What do you like best about September?
VACATION!

10. October... now that involves pumpkins. :D Do you and your family go to a pumpkin farm or the store and get pumpkins? What do you do with them? Do you carve them or make pies out of them (if they are edible ;))?
We go to a store after Halloween and buy them for cheap! Ha! :D That's pumpkin picking in the North ;)

11. Thanksgiving is a wonderful start to the Holiday Season. What are you thankful for this past year?

Growth and healing.

12. Christmas is such a wonderful time... how do you celebrate Christmas Day?

Presents, friends, lots of Italian food, It's a Wonderful Life, caroling.

13. What was the most memorable thing that happened to you this past year?
My baptism on Easter.

14. Was there something this past year that you were able to learn from in a major way?
Healing is painful but always results in something beautiful.

15. There are ups and downs in every year. What was the happiest thing that happened? What was the saddest?

16. What are you looking forward to this year? Have you any super duper plans ahead of you?
Happiest: birth of Carmella. Saddest: I don't know! :D

17. What is the funniest thing that happened last year, that never fails to make you laugh?
Oh goodness...I laugh a lot but can't remember...

18. What was your favorite month last year?

Hmmm...probably November. We had the *best* vacation ever in November.
